- 2nd week after the term break. Mood: like black clouds hovering above the sky. Last week: Monday: Received a D+ for my HRM, got called up for a role play in front of the class Tuesday: Got picked during tutorial to do an additional exercise in tutorial Wednesday: Did crappy during the performance at Suntec Thursday: Quarreled at home, can't go dance Friday: Bombed my Consumer Behavior test What a great week. - The study break is nearly over! Definitely not looking forward to going back to school. Tutorials not done yet, have not finish studying for my upcoming tests but I think I can handle all of these things by the end of this weekend. Pretty bad time management during the term break. For everyday during the term break, I wake up at 11am, go to school for dance, reach home at night, go youtube and sleep at 3am. I went to Ambrosia Mediterranean Restaurant with Ruby and Mich yesterday for dinner. The restaurant was located at Baghdad Street, near Arab Street. Went there cuz I won a $100 dinner voucher. We had to sit cross-legged on the floor around the table and within minutes our legs cramp liao. The food was not bad but some of the food was too exotic in flavour for us. Did not manage to finish our meals but we enjoyed drinking wines. Ruby and I took away Mich's alcoholic-virginity and she ended up feeling even higher than me even though she took a small sip only and Ruby and I had a glass of wine each and another Barcardi for me. Going to have a performance at Suntec Fountain of Wealth next Wednesday at 7pm. SA Camp on 4th to 6th of July. 4 more performances during the month of July but I don't think I can perform all 4 due to commitment problems etc etc. My sister wants me to blog about her and she is trying to convince me to blog about her beauty. She says that she is prettier than Sarah Jessica Parker and she has a whole list of places she wants to go in NYC. Pity her rich boyfriend. Macam Faham. Back to youtubing. - It’s near the end of the term break. Been dancing everyday and neglecting my studies. Time to burn midnight oil again!! Monday- Nick and I went to O School for Ryan’s Lyrical Jazz class. We were so nervous about the level of the class that we were literally sweating before the class started. But after the class… We were cheering like crazy (in the lift)!! The class was okay.. Warm up was pretty challenging and he taught us only 2-eighths of choreo. Probably because the standard of the class was not very high when we were there and there was not much time left. Continued dancing on Tuesday till Friday. Zee finalized the blocking for the Jazz piece and taught the seniors gals a Bombay piece. It’s a very nice and seductive choreo but I don’t think I can catch the essence of the dance at all. Being seductive and sexy is not really my style. I remembered when I was in Year 1 and Peter threw us the first gals styling piece (Buttons). I was like “Gahhhhhhh….” and I kept telling Liyi “I dun wan I dun wan...”. But still, thank you Zee for the nice choreo! Sunday (yesterday) was Sister’s birthday and Father’s Day. Double celebration! Sister demanded for her presents at midnight. I gave Sis a “Sex and the City” book and Purple Havaianas slippers. Brother gave her a nice gold Naraya Bag. Sister and I went to Orchard and she bought a dark pink heels from Heatwave while I bought a black off-shoulder top from Bus Stop (Lol Ervinna), mainly for the jazz choreo. Went back to Woodlands for chilli crab with Father and Brother. Mother was absent due to some conflict (again). Ate a lot of chilli crab and I ended up with some rash on my arms. Oops. Not my fault mah, nobody wants to eat mah, so I polished it up lo. Oh Oh I stole a cup home cuz the cup was so cute. The design is the green tea lemon thingy from Yeo’s. - Finally the 2 weeks break! No need to wake up every morning with the sky still dark and the air still cool. But even with the 2 week break, I'm still going back to school everyday for dance, work and project meetings. Sadded. Went out on a shopping trip with Mich on Saturday to get my Khiel's samples and to source for birthday present for my sis. Only 1 interesting thing happened. There's this mini promotion event going on at Heeren to promote Madonna's Hard Candy album, and Kumar the drag queen was hosting the event. He was waving freebies to the audience and asked for takers. So I went up! I mean, freebies leh! Who don't want?! He just asked me simple questions like my name, do I like Madonna etc. And I get to walk away with Heeren $10 voucher! Heheh. I went for The Big Groove last night and it was seriously good! Kinda sad when it ended. In my opinion OCrew did the best cuz they showed all the different styles of hiphop they teach at OSchool and because they are locals (:P). WCO was 2nd best. It was a great concert and I didn't mind paying more than $20 (but less than $40) to watch it. Hopefully I would be able to catch it again next year. Going for Lyrical Jazz class at OSchool with Nick tonight. *Glares* I wanna watch premier of SYTYCD on TV!!! Although I've watched it tons of times on youtube, but the resolution will be much better and I don't have to watch it from a 12cm b y 12cm square frame. I am so dead. ><
