- Its been a long time I've blogged about schoolwork. Cuz I've been on attachment and yr2 kinda flashed past without much to say. This week is my D-Week. 1 presentation, 2 written tests and 3 project submissions, all within 4 days (i got no school on Fridays). I might have to sacrifice other things to pull up my grades. On a brighter note, term break is coming! All I want to do this term break is to go to the Swan lake eatery with my frens, go to a restaurant at Arab street with another bunch of frens, and go shopping for GSS. - One of my Sister's ex-colleague (whom she was rather fond of) died in a road accident 4 days ago and my Sis went to his wake. Kinda sad cuz he was only 30 years old and he left behind a dog. This week flew by cuz Monday was Vesak Day, and I do not have school on Fridays. Tuesday was a normal day for me. Wednesday and Thursday passed by as if both days were combined ito one. My brother and I went to Jingwei's house to watch the Champions League final in the early morning of Thursday. The match dragged on ito extra time and penalty shootout, so I reached home only at 6am. American Idol results finale was at 8am so I did not sleep. Surprisingly I was pretty energetic in school but kinda buay tahan at night cuz I had to do project. I went back to school today (Friday) for Jam & Hop with my dance mates Ervinna, Treasa, Meixian, Rabiah, Zee and Nick and Drama-mate Eunice. It was my 2nd "clubbing" experience and as usual i wasn't high enough, but I was slightly higher compared to my 1st clubbing at DXO. Oh oh, backtrack to last week. I went out with Mich & Ruby for a catching-up session. Ruby is studying at NP and Mich is currently on attachment, so it was a good time to meet up with them. First up, we went to an eatery at Dhoby Ghaut. We walked off without paying our bills!! Ok it was unethical and nothing to be proud of but in our defense, no-one was around when we wanted to ask for the bill and they did not even give us our receipt. Plus no-one stopped us when we took tentative steps past the cashier counter. That was not the most interesting part of our outing. Mich's friend Andrew came to join us and we went to this HP Mini-notebook roadshow at The Cathay to check out the super small laptop. It was small but not very nice. Its slightly larger than A5 and it weighs 1.9kg. Pretty cool but I didn't like the uninspiring metallic colour. So Ruby and I went off to find seats while Andrew and Mich check out the laptop. The 987fm "Muttons to Midnight" Deejays Justin & Vernon spotted us and "pak-ka" with us to come onstage when they need volunteers. So we went onstage with another guy and the 3 of us were MADE TO GO AROUND TO MODEL THE STUPID HP MINI!! Super malu I tell you. Then the 2 DJs made the audience scream to see which 3 of us got the loudest cheer. Ok I got the loudest cheer. -.-"" So we walked away with a pair of tickets to the"Sex & the City" movie each and I got an extra $100 dinner voucher at a restaurant near Arab street, which I intend to go with Ruby to reward ourselves after the embarrassing incident. - One thing I hate about blogging is, I can't write what I really want to write. Blogging is not a virtual journal, it is just a pretend journal where it does not show people your own true character. People blog with the thinking that "okay, someone is going to read my blog". It is not the same as conventional diaries, the ones where you writes in your room and hides it in your closet or something. But often found by someone who can't stop their itchy fingers from wandering around. -.-" You can have happy entries in your blogs but in reality you are a sad person, or vice versa. Blogs do not even show your personality, let alone your character. I am blogging about this because I am frustrated that I can't blog about what I truly want to blog. If we are going to fake names, beat-around-the-bush stories, then u might as well don't blog about it. If I were to blog what is going thru my mind (which I highly doubt that cuz I will have the thinking that someone's gonna read my entry), I may offend someone, or go to jail, or get a fine or blah blah. Everything you do is judged by someone. I'm writing this entry not to pin-point on any blogs I've come across. I've always wanted to blog about this issue for about a year ago but often I do not know how to put my words across. It's not a "rant" too. Oh god I hate that r word. There is no "moral of the story" from this entry. I just want to say that blogs do not reflect our character nor personality properly. I'm glad that not many people reads my blog because all my previous entries are just a facade of who i really am. Although I'm just a simple girl with not-much ambition. I want to blog about the ups and downs of SA Nite and Danz Inc. in general but I shan't. Shall keep it to myself and maybe to people I can relate these things to. One thing I have to say is, although I don't speak about things and don't act upon it, it doesn't mean that I don't give a hoot. I want to give a hoot but please do let me have a chance to. - Trip to Hong Kong After so many months of waiting, I fianlly went on a holiday, a short holiday, I must add. 2 days at HK and I sat on 1st class on the plane! I went to "Flower Garden", "Lady's street", Victoria Peak, Star Avenue etc etc. Whoo-hoo!! Pictures!!
