- Merry Christmas! Ok, last Friday I went for a juice party at Zee's house. She lives on the 2nd floor. So cool, imagine if u forget to take something out of the house, someone can throw it down to you. "Hey! Jie ah! I forgot to take my handphone!" "Here, catch!" Kinda cool. Anyway we all went to fairprice to buy all the fruits (fruits galore!) before heading to Zee's house to unload all our freshly picked fruits (freshly picked from the shelves in fairprice). I blended the juice with Jess and we made two different blends. Blueberry with red grapes and apple with strawberry. Preferred the latter though. I went for Christmas shopping yesterday. Bought a Winnie the Pooh glass teapot from Gift-a-name, damn cute can! Also bought candycane from Watsons. Afterwards I went to collect my logcake from Bangawan Solo. So while lugging all these bulky things, I had a craving for KFC. Both hands were full of boxes and nearly could not tap my ez-link card while boarding the bus. The corner of my logcake box was also dented, cuz I used it to press the buttons on the lift. So I spent my Christmas eve by watching TV and eating Logcake, Candycane and my Cinnamon Apple tea. Peaceful day.

- As you grow older, the problems you face are harder, more in-your-face with solutions that diminishes easily. No room for errors and excuses. Boo to problems. Sunday, December 16, 2007

- Yayness, two week break started. Alumni Night performance was great. However, the turn out was kinda bad. Heck, but everybody did their best. When the curtain rolled aside for Give it to Me, I thought it was final rehearsal. Only 15 seconds into the dance then I realised that it was the REAL performance. OMG I was so kok. The juniors did their best for the item. Very proud of Feraldine, cuz she did not have any noticeable mistakes and she really improved from rehearsals up till the real performance. Watching the 6 girls perform together onstage was great as that proves that Danz Inc. juniors have a great future ahead in the club. Zee's and Treasa's item nearly made me cry. Very expressive and they did even better than all the rehearsals. Watched some parts of the drama. Rab2 damn cute la.. Same for Kenneth and his sucking equipment. Drama really improved a lot. They should do more external performances next time. A few forgot their lines but did a great job in covering up. Audience were enthusiastic. Finally the closing item, "Because of You". Didn't manage to extend my right leg completely (damn!) but otherwise I did ok. Next, the finale. Very emotional finale. I nearly cried at several points: When Hasli's recording played cuz he was a great great president; when Sherry passed down to me; seeing Peter;when the curtains closed; and seeing everybody teary-eyed. Never really cried but still had to use tissue, thanks to Jingwei's endless supply of McDonalds serviette. Its when the year 3s pass down to us year 2s. Didn't know they arranged the year 3 comm to pass down to us one-by-one. Sherry passed down to me. Very sad that she and Mel are no longer our heads.. I do missed the time when they were both in-charge. Yay to the new SA Comm and dept heads!! Was very happy with the decisions made by the outgoing comm. And they listened to my advice! Heheh. Shan't say anymore. Very happy with Alumni Night despite all the cock-ups cuz its a time when all StageArters come together. Ok I sound very sappy but really, I'm more happy to work together with all of SA rather than Danz Inc. alone, cuz its more like a 100% theatre show. Weekend was boring. The only plus thing was going to Crystal Jade for lunch with mother and brother on Sunday. Brother laughed at me after I said some wrong Chinese words to the waitress. Shit him.
Me eating happily
Brother laughing at me *~THE END~* Thursday, December 13, 2007

- 2 weeks break starting next week. I was like "Huuuhh??" So fast! I have 6 reports to complete; namely (in order of deadlines)- 1. EFMA 2. Biz Finance 3. ICT Google Reader 4. Biz Law 5. Retail Studies 6. Marketing Mgt I simply love being Year 2. NOT. Alumni Night on Friday. Rather reluctant to perform but deicided to cuz I have not perform in TFA before, plus I'm alright with the choreos. Poor Treasa pulled her inner-thigh muscles, then cannot do spilts. Hopefully she'll be ok by Friday. I wanted to go JB with Sister this Saturday but she received an unexpected call from her HQ, and they asked her to fly for 5 days starting today! Wah lau eh. No more JB this week. Dunno which idiot took medical leave on purpose and made sister cover his/her arse. That means I gotta date someone else this weekend. *looks at Mich* Brother asked me to go for an interview to be panelist of Youth ChangeMakers (YCM). But I was reluctant to go cuz I have no experience in Community Service. My resumé is like: Modern Dance Club (2002-2005) StageArts Danz Inc. (2006- present) How to join YCM? My Pa said this to me, "You cannot survive without dance one laaaaa". Quite true. Besides Dance I got nothing much to do. Can't always read books. Study? Nah, I'll go bonkers if I study whole day. Can't go shopping as well, no money. Stay at home? No way, don't wanna see mother. I want to go for a holiday. Help meee.. Sunday, December 09, 2007

- Why I prefer Christmas over Lunar New Year: 1) I don't have to see my relatives 2) Christmas lighting in Orchard are way better than the CNY ones 3) Log cakes tastes nicer than bak kwas 4) Peaceful Carols rather than noisy Lion Dances 5) Christmas is during 2-week break, CNY is during EXAMS! Many people have the mis-conception that only Christians celebrate Christmas. Anyone can celebrate Christmas, or else, enjoy the festival. Even I, an agnostic, loves Christmas(okok, I used to be a Christian, but still). Ok actually I'm biased. I don't dislike CNY but I hate the idea of seeing relatives for like, once a year only. Then might as well not see. For people who wants to buy me Christmas pressie and/or birthday pressie! Here's my list (heheheheh): 1) Aiyah, i don't wanna write it down. 2) Super paiseh and macam paham. I wish.... I wish... That Christmas 2007 will be the best of all and also year 2008 will be smashing! Thursday, December 06, 2007

- Is a rainy Thursday morning, that type of weather which people refuses to get out of bed. I did my fair share of silent protests when my alarm clocks rang at 6.3oam. Did things slower than usual and I ended up dashing outta my house, to no avail as the bus just left. Oh well. MONDAY Nothing much happened on Monday(as usual). Went home early to prepare for my French ICA the following day. But I ended up watching "Heroes" happily on TV. TUESDAY Met Lina earlier in the morning to practice our French oral. We had to come up with a 1 minute speech about ourselves. I timed and mine was only 55 seconds. Had to stretch the time by asking the class "How are you today?". Mispronounced several words but Madame Soo commented "Well done". Yay. Baby is offically not 100% mine anymore! She's 50% mine, have to share with someone else. Haha, if you're wondering who I'm talking about, then you can keep on wondering. Hehee. Left dance early to go home and study for another test. WEDNESDAY Flipped open the test paper, said "shit" along with everybody in the Lecture Theatre. One gal left after 7min(I counted) into the test. People started to file out. Attempted the questions and left the LT after Lina, and Liyi left after me. Nadia and Huiqi (who were sitting next to the 3 of us) were like "what the..." when we left consecutively. Macam one by one give up. It was still 10.46am when i left the LT. Tutorial was cancelled. Reached home at 12.30pm, ate my lunch, and crashed out till 4pm. Crashed out again at 4.30pm. And crashed out yet again at 5.30pm. Attempted to study at night but was distracted yet again by TV. Watch PCD: The search for the next doll with my mom. We like so lesbians, kept watching the hot gals. Ervinna! Where are you! I wanna start the choreo!! Monday, December 03, 2007

- ~MY IDOLS~ Ok, a few of you would have known that I am absolutely CRAZAY over "Idols". Yep I am. So crazy over "Idol-mania" that it kinda disrupted my O'Levels. Ok anyway, this post is to introduce to you my favourite idols from over 35 countries. Gotta split my entries into dunno how many parts cuz I got so many idols to talk about. Here's part 1 of American Idol and Australian Idol. Enjoy! AMERICAN IDOL Kelly Clarkson (Season 1 Winner)
Known for her great vocals, wrote the lyrics for season 3's winning song. Recommended song: Raindrops Will Fall Bo Bice (Season 4 runner-up)
I didn't like Carrie during idol, but I grown to like her after listening to her albums. Grammy award winner and she has great great country hits. Success rate equal that of Kelly Clarkson. Recommended songs: Some Hearts, Wasted, Don't Forget to Remember Me, Ever Ever After
My fav contestant of the season. He stands out cuz he's unique (spasms onstage, screaming "soul patrol!" etc) Recommended songs: Heaven Knows Elliott Yamin (Season 5 3rd place) Didn't make it to the final s due to a marginal difference in votes. One of my fav contestants as well. Great vocalist. Recommended song: Wait for You AUSTRALIAN IDOL Guy Sebastian (Season 1 winner) Paulini Curuenavuli (season 1 4th Place) Hm.. Dunno whether I spelt her name correctly Lmao. Considered the diva of the season, was voted out cuz she wore a tight gold dress and was criticized by one of the judge. Recommended songs: So Over You, Superwoman Anthony Callea (season 2 runner-up) Considered the greatest vocalist of Aust Idol to date. Performed the memorable "The Prayer" live and received standing ovation from the crowd as well as all 3 judges. Still one of the fav idols. Recommended songs: The Prayer (live and studio version), Rain, Live For Love ![]() Ricki-Lee Coulter (Season 2 7th place) My favourite idol of all idol shows, she was voted out early but became the most successful female Australian idol. She has produced 2 albums and 6 singles to date. She's pretty and sings well. Moi am her loyal fan! I bought magazines (damn ex cuz gotta import), joined her official forum and even got my aust friend to send her album to me. And I'll be buying her 2nd album online soon. Hopefully she'll go international. Recommended songs: Hell No!, Breathe, Turn it Up, Can't Touch it, Love is All Around
Ok!! More idols next time!
