- Ok, I know that I've mentioned in the previous post that I'll only blog on Thursdays but, I suddenly have the urge to blog. 2 more days to performance! My first performance in months. Hopefully all the planning and performing will turn up alright. There seem to have a lot of potential problematic stuff. But that aside, looking forward for makeup, costume but definitely not contact lens. Hate to wear lenses but no choice, if not my spec will fling out during "Within". Lmao. - From now on, I will update my blog only once a week, every Thursdays. Know why? Cuz its the time when I am working at eplaza, nothing to do for 5 hours. Of cuz must make full use of that 5 hours la. I reached home around 12 plus last night. Not surprisingly, my brother was still awake, using the computer. Sister just came back from work too and she was super shocked that I came home late on a Wednesday night. She asked me is it I went out with Boyfriend. YEAH RIGHT, BOYFRIEND. Girlfriend, more like. The truth is I had dance prac. Dance mah. I am having a steady relationship with dance. We were training for Sexyback White Returns cuz we have to show it to Peter the next day! Ok excluding me cuz I'm understudy but I was so motivated to stay throughout to learn. Finished I'm afraid of Within now. Before Sexyback Treasa went thru Within with me, Jess, Wee Fong and Reg. I realized I had a lot of mistakes! Sian ji pua..Thank you Treasa for patiently going thru the choreo step-by-step. It was really count-by-count. Hopefully I would be able to do the correct parts during prac tonight. Very very stressed out now. super duper. When will all this calm down? scared of my commitment level in the future, not exactly future future but near future. Haiz, got no one to talk to cuz I always keep everything to myself. I'm not that kind who can pour out my feelings, not even to close friends. Not even to family members, not even to my soft-toys. I'll just continue to be 'happy'. Thursday, October 18, 2007

- ~Typical back-to-school post~ From attachment-dance to school-work-dance. Some things just never change. :) Alright, let me just cut the crap and post the typical entry which I bet hundreds of poly students did, which is to 'rant' about the back-to-school. I hate the word 'rant'. Why do people use the word 'rant'? Its a weird expression to use. It was a mad dash to school as I tried to reach school as early as possible to get all my notes. My mom offered to give me $10 for my notes but I insisted on $20. Didn't realized that the whole lot of notes came up to $45! Bloody hell. I had no choice but to get notes for 2 modules only. I went to eplaza first to meet Liyi, and spent some time with her watching youtube before meeting Lina to get our notes. Went for my first lecture (marketing management) after so many months. To my horror the teacher informed us that the topic would be kinda linked to what we had learnt in year 1. Horror of horrors. After my disastrous lecture I went for tutorial which, I have no mood to blog about it. In summary my first day as a student was kinda like a shit day. Next, on to my work. Mr Chong called me back to continue work at eplaza. Naturally I said yes, cuz I can't be broke. Dancers do need money to buy costumes and accessories. So basically, I have to work at the lab on Thursdays and Fridays. Bye-bye to freedom but hello to money. Haiz, no choice. Lastly, dance. Been dancing everyday, to prep for the Lunchtime concert. Trying very hard to improve on the choreos and finding costumes! Bye-bye to my salary earned at UOB. But, I do feel that it is worth it. I have not been performing for a super-duper long time. Due to attachment, and I am very looking forward to my first performance in months. In all, my first week back at NYP was quite overwhelming. Realized that the modules are much much more challenging and that I have the inclusion of work. Hopefully I would be able to balance all 3 out. As the saying goes, you can't have your cake and eat it or something like that la. I'm scared of what's gonna be like after this week. 8 modules and so far I have about 5 group projects on hand. Not to mention individual projects. Can't slack anymore. Kena brain-washed by my mom everyday with the same phrase "Mei ah, you have to go to NUS or NTU, if not you cannot earn 2k plus per month". Although I do tell myself that too, but with the words coming out of my mom's mouth, the pressure is more. Heng she's in Hong Kong now for holiday, somewhere at Fah Ying Kai. Lmao. - END OF ATTACHMENT FINALLY The long awaited day has finally arrived. The end of a long attachment. Bye-bye to UOB! Bye-bye to my in-charge(s)! Bye-bye to my seat, PC and hardphone. Bye-bye to the TV showing CNN but with volume at zero! And finally bye-bye to irritating and stupid customers! I alighted at Toa Payoh and went to the office with Sharon. Reached the office but the interns have not reached yet!! We agreed to meet up at 8.30pm cuz we wanted to take photos with our ICs and put it into the big card which we gave them. Posed and posed. Anyway work started as usual and the ICs bought us pizzas for lunch. So nice. We were very slack for the entire day that the queue calls for remittance was so high ,the division head personally came to us to get us to answer calls. The new batch of interns took calls in the afternoon, and we were supposed to guide them. Hopefully they will be able to get used to this job asap. After saying goodbye to UOB at 6pm, Priscilla, Sim Yee, Sharon, Ming Li, Jace and I went to eat steamboat at AMK. Eat till 9 plus and went home to get a good rest. Though I am so freaking glad that attachment is over, I will miss my seat and my ICs. Semester 2 is starting soon. Time to study hard and aim for 3.5. Tuesday, October 09, 2007
