- 10 MORE DAYS TILL END OF ATTACHMENT Took leave on Friday to clear my 20 hrs of leave given for each attachment stopover. Specifically took it on Friday as I had a meeting at Bras Basah on Thursday night, super far, and reached home around midnight. Woke up late on Friday! Was nearly late for my outing with my Bestie Michelle. Before I went out I prank call my friend at UOB, ha! Anyway I met Mich at Orchard for a day of shopping. Have not been to Orchard for so long. Everything looked the same, as usual. We makan at a nice Crystal Jade restaurant and had ramen and xiao long bao. After one whole day of shopping, I managed to buy the stuff in my list. Original list: 1. Small sling bag 2. Lingerie 3. face mask 4. Earrings Actual list: 1. Small sling bag from small push cart shop 2. Lingerie from department store 3. Face mask from Wastons 4. Earrings from small push cart shop 5. Rihanna- Good Girl Gone Bad CD from CD Rama 6. Best Friends necklace from Diva 7. Hana Kimi Volume #23 comic from Kinokuniya Lesson Learnt: Always set aside more money as your list will grow! So anyway, I can't wait for my next pay. Hopefully I will have enough will-power not to spend it all. Shall save up for my trip next year. - 15 MORE DAYS TO THE END OF ATTACHMENT. 3 WEEKS LA.. Woke up late on a Sunday morning. Actually I shouldn't count it as morning, as I woke up at noon. Today my sis and I will be going to KTV. But I dunno any current Chinese songs leh. And the English songs are always so un-updated. Plus I can't really sing in Chinese as I dunno how to recognise the Chinese characters on the screen, still put traditional Chinese. Bloody hell. So anyway I've worked out a list of things I'll be buying with my pay! (In no order of importance nor order of purchase) 1. Small sling bag (very cute leh, seeing people carry it everywhere) 2. Some nice lingerie (haven't buy for so long le, have to update :D) 3. Neutrogena deep hydrating mask (works wonders gals!!) 4. earrings (kept disappearing cuz I anyhow throw...) So these are the things I'm going to buy with my pay. And more things after I get my 2nd (and last) pay. Yesterday I met YiYarn (lmao dun kill me!!) at Woodlands for coaching session for her accounting. We went to find place at Woodlands Library but damn crowded!!! Cuz now is A and O Levels period. Haha, YiYarn was saying "whoa one year past liao!" I two years lor. Lmao. So in the end we went to McDonald's where we managed to find a corner seat. Went through accounting with her. And after that I met my sis for dinner at Jack's Place. Very nice. After dinner we went home to watch Memoirs of a Geisha. Last Words: Good Luck to you YiYarn for your supp paper on Monday!! 5 MORE WEEKS TILL END OF ATTACHMENT~~~ MEOWZAHH!!! Was feeling quite positive on Monday. Told myself "Hey, time passes very fast! In a blink of an eye and it'll be Friday soon!" Yeah right. Kinda tired after dance prac on Tuesday, thank god Zul drove me home. If not I don't think I can get up at 6.30am for my attachment. Caught a flu on Wednesday morning, and was very tired after Jitterbugs audition. Reached home after midnight. Faster bathe and slept. Flu continued on Thursday and I finished a whole big packet of tissue, the 100 pieces in one packet type. Skipped dance and went home to have an early rest. Flu continued on Friday, but luckily I applied for half-day leave. Tried to clear my head by walking around Causeway Point, but I was too sian of the shopping centre, so i went home. Flu finally stopped on Saturday, and I went grocery shopping with Sis. She bought Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD as well as snacks. One big bottle of Chardonnay!! Yay to alcohol. - RETAIL THERAPY New computer finally arrived. Only managed to have free time to blog now as I was too busy clearing all the emails yesterday. Went to Malaysia with sister last Saturday. We went to City Square and spent the whole day there. Had our usual lunch at the Portuguese chicken place. Damn nice sia, have not been eating this for close to 1 year.. So anyway our overall haul from this shopping trip was pretty good. I bought new shoes and a pair of nice earrings, my sis bought moon cake from our favourite Lavender and also a nice orange dress. Lastly, we popped by Secret Recipe for our mid-afternoon break, and I had a super duper OMG slice of choc cake. yay to chocolate! This week was the usual 9-6pm boredom which I've already ran out of complaints about it. But I'm starting to enjoy my attachment as my attachment mates and I have started to get comfortable of the routine, and we enjoy bitching about customers who screamed at us over the phone. Went out with Michelle yesterday to watch Ratatouille at Junction 8. I've actually watched the movie before (thanks to pirated DVD) but I wanted to enjoy the movie in a nice cinema. Very good movie, the standard of "Finding Nemo". Before movie we had lunch at Cafe Cartel, damn expensive but because I used my Capitacard to pay for it, I got quite a lot of rebate. We shopped around as Mich wanted to get a sling bag. We narrowed our choices to a super damn nice dark purple Adidas one, the black Zinc bag which is the same design as the one Peter has, and a cheaper and interestingly designed bag Fila. I wanted to get a sling bag too, but all the bags were freaking expensive. I wanted to get the purple Adidas one. But its $56 leh! No money arh!!! In the midst of shopping for Mich's bag, I spotted a nice Carlo Rino purse, which is big enough to put my money, cards, HP and MP3. Cost $32 after discount but I walked away from it. In the end I went to Causeway point and got it for the same price. Damn shopaholic-mania.
