Woke up late at After watching the movies my sis and I went for dinner at Delifrance. We were both amused how people in Delifrance were looking so smug. Same for those in Coffee Bean and Gelare. Looked so proud la, just because they can afford to eat at a more expensive place. But anyway, my sis and I decide to eat at a smug-people place. I had a nice meal of chicken steak. After that, its home! Wednesday, August 15, 2007

- Attachment officially started yesterday. I tried to decorate my desk by putting my bear-bear on the desk and the funky pyramid danceALIVE musical calendar. Unfortunately, it did not make any difference as my desk is full of post-it notes. Plus if you've seen my drawers, you'd faint cuz its super messy. So far so good... Just that I'm dead beat by the end of the day. Had dance prac last night and I could not focus at all cuz I was so giddy. Tried my very best to focus but couldn't. Sad sia.. No more dance prac for 2 weeks... How to survive?? I'm looking forward to dance camp, lunchtime performance and of cuz, end of my attachment. Then I can go back and be a student liao. :) Friday, August 10, 2007

- Today's a normal day for me. I went for my attachment and sat through 2 tests. Did ok for both but there's more tests next Monday. Damn. Let me back-track a bit. Let's start from Wednesday. Another stressful day for me at UOB. After we were released at around 6.15pm, I dashed my way to school as I was helping out with SA Production. I reached school around 6.45pm and helped out at the ticketing booth with my Da Jie. I love chatting to the alumnis as they were so friendly and enthusiastic. The production started slightly before 8pm, and I managed to squeeze pasr a row of people to a sit which Michelle reserved for me. Kenny, who wore a super bright yellow tee, was sitting next to me. The production started with a dance performance by Danz Inc.!!! Yay!! In my opinion it was their best performance as it was very synchronized. The funny part was when Zee's shoe flew out. But she kept her cool and continued dancing. Haha.. The drama part was started my Nadiah and Nadirah, the 2 juniors. It was a very heartwarming story, and I liked the fat that Aisha and Faz, the script-writers, cleverly inter-twined 3 types of problems; parenting problem, siblings problem, and relationship problem. Every actor did their best. Super proud of all of them. My favourite scene was the last scene, when all 3 couples reunited. It was a happy yet sad ending. The scenes with the jesters are my next favourite beat. Super funny, they all. Glad the audience's responses were very positive. Very happy that this production was a success. Next is National Day on Thursday. It definitely had some new stuff, but I don't really liked the concept. But glad that they took so much effort to change NDP into something new. After watching the parade on tv, I chiong-ed and studied for my Remittance test for today. I'm gonna miss dance. Whoever is free and wanna dance, find me please. Monday, August 06, 2007

- Ok, first day of attachment and I am already dreading it. No scratch that- I dreaded it ever since I know I'll be posted to UOB Call Centre. Now, let me blog about my accumulated woes for the past few days. Saturday I went to school for a meeting at 10am. Everyone was late and Liyi came only half an hour later. Unfortunately, she saw my black face. Ha. But we managed to have a proper meeting and we discussed and settled some stuff... Shaheera and Zul were at the meeting too. At 1pm we went to TFA for rehearsal. I hovered around in the theatre while the others went onstage for blocking with Peter. Da Jie was there too. We chat and watched the dancers onstage rehearsing Beyond Legends. They were pretty good, but I believe it was not their best yet. I left school with Liyi afterwards. I had to go home to prepare for some dinner thing with my relatives. The dinner was actually some National Day celebration event held at a super big make shift tent. Kinda o-biang but nevertheless, the food was pretty good. They forced us to sing National day songs and tried to get us to wave the flag together. I did waved the flag, to the amused stares from my relatives and the people around me. Well... I'm a weirdo. Sunday I went out shopping with my sister to Bugis. We went to the temple on Victoria Street as my Sister met some unfortunate things when she was in Japan. Anyway we went there and I went to pray too! Though I'm a free thinker but it was fun. I went to shake the sticks-in-the-cup. At Parco Bugis I bought a couple of things and we had dinner at Sakae Sushi. Damn funny lar... My sis tried to spend over $40 just to get rebate for her Capitacard. Along the way I met JingYi and Wee Fong. They were searching for white-based shoes for Beyond Legends. Today First day of attachment. Train was packed like sardine in cans. I managed to squeeze out of the train and went to HDB Hub. Saw Jace when I rook the escalator up. She was waiting for Sim Yee, Meng Lie, and also Rachel. Kinda surprised but happy that so many of BSU Team 1 members are selected for this UOB thing! By lunchtime everybody were familiar with each other and we went for lunch together at a hidden makan place. Afterwards it was non-stop lecture. 4 hours lor!!!!! On the topic of remittance. And the test is on Friday. Dammit. Sunday, August 05, 2007

- My break's ending soon. Am I well-rested? Hm... Not really. Though I'm taking a nice break from all the school-work, I'm still involve in Dance. Not complaining or anything but my Ma is starting to question me, why do I have to go to school even during my break. The worse thing to happen is when my Pa starts to ask too, which he has not, but I'm pretty sure he'll start asking soon. Dance aside, I got posted to UOB Office at Toa Payoh HDB Hub for my next attachment. Quite happy but kinda sian because I'll be stuck in the office handling phone calls from 9am to 6pm everyday. But I am happy to be given a chance to be attached to an external organization and escape from NYP!! Although I have to go back to school for dance la. I'll be starting my training next week. Which means I'll be late for dance trainings from now onwards till the end of my attachment. Have to tell Peter about passing the attendance taking job to someone else.. DAMN WHY AM I BACK TO THE TOPIC OF DANCE????????????? Ervinna and I went back to our secondary school today, to show Jesper the choreo which we will be performing for the dance club's handover ceremony on Tuesday. We are performing "Still", which Peter already approves. Along the way we saw some of our teachers. I saw Mrs Ong, and she was carrying a large Louis Vuitton bag! So glam sia... She still remembers my name, which I think is not a surprise as I was one of the weaker students in her Maths class. Jesper came to pick Ervinna and I up from the security station near the school gates and we went up to the studio. Not much changes in the studio though. Jesper was clearing up the storeroom, and it was so emotional to see my previous dance costumes.. My first and second SYF costumes.. Silver Jubilee costume.. all neatly hung up on bamboo poles. Haiz.... Dance... My past... present... and future?
