Insecure Biatch

Well, its mid-term break now but I seriously am not enjoying the break now. I have work and dance every week(OK, I know I chose the former by myself) . I can't even go jalan properly. Always have to rush off for work or dance practices when 6pm reaches. How I wish I could just hang out with my bunch of friends at Clarke Quay at night, just enjoying nightlife, or perhaps loosen myself by the beach when the sun is up.

Dear God, where's my proper break??!!

My exams results are out and I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed with it. I scored lower than my previous semester, which I think its common with students, but I can't help but sigh whenever I looked at my Bs and Cs. I haven't gotten a single bloody A!!!! Alright, you may think, why am I so freaking stress or Kiasu over my results?? Seriously, I want to go to a government- aided university. My family isn't rich to send me to private Uni, and I hate taking loans from banks, cuz the interest rates are super high. I might as well buy Toto every week.

I had originally planned to work after getting my diploma, to save some money and enrol myself into a private uni. Truth is, I don't want to waste any time. I want to go straight to uni after my diploma so that I can start proper working early.

I hate to stress over results like a typical Singaporean. But the fact is that you have to get a good cert to have a higher paycheck.

Lets talk about dance. I love dance and its a hobby I enjoy. I have been dancing for the past 5 years and am glad whenever I made improvements. But now, dance is slowly stressing me up. It was my wistful thinking of joining dance as a leisure activity at school. Let me ask you, would the school let you join a course that's free, and want nothing back?? The school let us have free dance training so that we can put up performances and enter competition to bring up the school's name.

I'm not complaining anything. I love performing for people but I once had a shallow mentality that taking up a CCA in school is for leisure purposes. Of course, I'm fully prepared to take up a higher stress level when musical and clubcrawl approaches.

One thing I'm not keen on dance is partnerwork. That explains why I do not have the thought of trying out Ballroom En Masse. I am not used to partnering with a guy cuz I'm incredibly awkward when dancing with them. I guess this is the issue which I must tackle asap. Plus I felt really guilty when I injured Peter during prac last night, that's why I did not dare to prac with other guys. Thanks god I'm not in the partnerwork for Anastacia!!

My organising skills are currently being tested. I am in the committee for musical, and also helping out for Clubcrawl. I love planning things (successfully) and being in the committee. Or more accurately, I love working behind-the-scenes. So far it has been quite stressful for me as I have to keep pace with the current situation of both upcoming events. I'm glad to be part of the process and I hope both performances will be successful.

Thanks to Miss Iis Herlina aka Miss Bu Chio Bu for the fabbest BBQ party at East Coast Park. No comments on the cake, but I nearly died laughing when I first saw it at the shop. Thanks also for fattening us up, and letting me escape my mom's cooking for one night!

Anyway the past few days were pretty satisfying for me. I went out with my dearie Ruby, managed to date Michelle at the last minute, had Liyi as my colleague, and attended a party. Only my stupid fever is making me feel pukish. I hate being sick!! I hate being a sicko!! I wanna jump and run about instead of lying on my bed and drooling. Oops too much information.

I had the most amazing discovery with Liyi, and it took place at a small Japanese food shop at Cathay Cineleisure. I ordered fried tofu, which I think is called agedashi, and it came with Bonito flakes (thinly shredded fish) on it. Liyi asked me to take a look at the flakes for a few moments and I COUDN'T BELIEVE IT! THE FLAKES MOVED!!!! I was very frightened as I had already popped a few pieces of Bonito flakes into my mouth. I kept wondering if the flakes were alive. Of course, I went online to research about this strange thing and I found out that it was the heat and moisture of the food beneath it that caused the flakes to flutter. Whoo.... Amazing findings.

I've recently taken to liking Mandarin songs, all thanks to Hana Kimi. And the strangest thing I've done is buying Fahrenheit's album. I mean, they can't sing that well and yet I bought it. I'm always very particular about the singer's vocal power. However, if I can have a few more pictures of Wu Zun to drool on, why not buy the album? Ha!

Peter pulled our team out of Danceworks'07. Definitely felt disappointed but I agree with him for pulling us outta this competition due to time constraints. Danceworks is on this Saturday and we have not even finish choreographing. I know the dance will be done up by Saturday but there'll be no time for polishing our steps. So since we are not going on stage fully prepared, we might as well not go at all. Plus our memory powers aren't that strong, therefore a high possibility that a lot of us will forget our steps on stage. Its ok!! We'll enter Danceworks'08 fully prepared and we will dominate the whole competition!!! Also thanks to Peter for inviting Jimmy down to conduct a session for us.

I had my 2nd conference session with my bunch of great galfriends and whoa!!! 1hr and 45min!! But it was shorter then our 1st conference. Scary man, we gals can talk. Of cuz, gal-talk will include things regarding the opposite sex, funny thing was, each of us have our own stories to tell. And I can't wait for Saturday!! BBQ and Overnight party!!!! If anyone has the urge of having a secret booze party, invite me hor!

Have been hanging out with my dear lady Ruby, and I'm glad we are able to go out despite my busy schedule. Lady!!! I will not be late for our meet up later! I swear!! Its s great to catch up with long-time friends.

Bloody Hell

Sorry for the crude title, but I find that my blog is lacking of expletives. So here you go: &$^()%#!%&(!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm currently busy with work and dance. Danceworks is on 10 Mar and we have not finish choreographing our dance, so its pretty stressful at the moment. I am also trying to balance work and dance, but I have to miss a few practices, so a lot for me to catch up!

I'm having dance practices everyday since Thursday. I went to SMU today for prac and the school's pretty nice. I lepaked with a few dancemates after our practices yesterday and today. I guess it is a great opportunity to bond with the seniors.

I'm having attachment soon, dammit.
